About

Dr. Diana Medina, Licensed Psychologist

My approach

Hi, I’m Diana Medina, PhD a licensed psychologist in private practice in North Scottsdale, Arizona. My therapeutic orientation is existential in nature with deep roots in cognitive behavioral therapy. I focus on meeting your needs by helping you find meaning in your life, which will guide you in reaching your goals. I believe in promoting self-awareness, personal growth, and a more fulfilling existence. Many clients come to therapy because they “want something to change.” I believe change happens when we explore the uncertainty that often accompanies it.

In therapy, I prioritize building a strong relationship with my clients, which serves as a safe and confidential space for exploration and self-discovery. Through this relationship, we can lay the foundation for meaningful change and relief from the distress that brought you to therapy. My approach is to provide compassionate support and practical feedback, helping you navigate personal challenges while focusing on the here and now.
